Phomi Econic Clay Interior Wall Coverings

FROM RAW MATERIAL TO ECONIC CLAY

The raw materials used for production of Econic Clay include crushed stone, sand, mud, ash, cement waste blocks and slag. These materials are collected and colour-separated, then pulverised into microscopic powder particles.

Using specific surfactants to modify the particles, each particle is covered with active substances and then multi-folded in the form of a network structure, resulting in the birth of an eco-friendly active soil. This environmentally-friendly active soil is known as Econic Clay.

APPLICATIONS

As a basic material or building block, more new materials can be derived from Econic Clay, providing infinite possibilities for material innovation in the fields of building construction, automobiles, urban roads, and sports industries.

3D-PRINTING TECHNOLOGY

Through 3D-printing technology and colourants, Econic Clay is transformed into an endless array of forms, accurately presenting the textures of materials such as stone, wood, woven surfaces, leather, and more. This earth-based material provides unlimited possibilities because it is highly malleable. It can be hard as stone, as tough as rattan, or as soft as skin.
