To battle against the virus, one of the recommended practices is to keep toilets clean and dry. Dry-Ace has recently been adopted by a school in Singapore to improve the cleanliness and hygiene of common spaces.

Dry-Ace is a disposable mat that helps keep your restrooms and washing areas clean, hygienic and dry. When placed under the urinal or basin, Dry-Ace can instantly absorb water or urine droplets to keep the restroom floor dry and clean at all times.

Students are reminded to wash their hands regularly as one of the COVID-19 prevention measures. As children may not always dry their hands properly after hand-wash, water tends to splash onto the floor of the hand-washing areas which can be dangerous as children may slip and fall on the wet floor.  In this project, Dry-Ace is used at the hand-washing area within the canteen to keep the floor dry. The self-adhesive underlay also prevents the mat from slipping when stepped on.

When used in the restrooms, Dry-Ace can also eliminate odours to create a more hygienic environment free of bad smells. This will significantly improve the cleanliness of toilets and reduce the frequency of restroom-cleaning. It is also an easy-to-use and economical solution for application in all public/ common toilets and hand-washing areas.
